Eucalyptus - fresh, camphorlike
Cooling to the body, relieves pain, refreshing, breaks up congestion, reduces inflammation, vapors helps breathing

Jasmine - sweet floral
Mood uplifting, aphrodisiac

Lavender - fresh, herbaceous
Calming, balances mood swings, lessens tensions, promotes restful sleep, vapors open sinus and breathing passages, lessens aches and pains, relaxes the muscles, healing to the skin

Lemon - clean, fresh, lemon-citrus
Cooling, calming, relaxing, reduces stress, promotes a restful sleep; mood uplifting, improves mental clarity, alertness and memory.
Precaution, Lemon can irritate the skin, should either be avoided or used with extra care by people with sensitive skin. Lemon is phototoxic. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for several hours after applying the oil on the skin.

Lemongrass - strong lemon
Calming, balances nervous system, mood uplifting, reduces inflammation; vapors help breathing

Orange - fresh citrus
Cooling, calming, reduces stress, promotes a restful sleep; mood uplifting, relieves emotional tension and stress, calms angry and irritable children, improves mental clarity and alertness
Precaution, Orange can irritate the skin, should either be avoided or used with extra care by people with sensitive skin. Orange is phototoxic. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for several hours after applying the oil on the skin.

Patchouli - heavy, earthy
Nerve stimulant; prevents sleep, mood uplifting, euphoric, healing to the skin

Peppermint - fresh, sweet mint, penetrating vapors
Cooling, vapors open sinus and breathing passages, mood uplifting, especially people who have slow metabolism. Helps relieve fatigue, increase physical strength
Precaution: Peppermint oil can irritate the skin and should either be avoided or used with extra care by people with sensitive skin. Use small amounts. It is best to avoid using the oil before bedtime due to the stimulating effects on the nervous system. Avoid when pregnant.

Rosemary - camphorous, penetrating vapors
Warming, improves circulation, vapors open sinus and breathing passages, mood uplifting especially for people who have a slow metabolism, refreshing
Precaution, Rosemary should not be used by people prone to epileptic seizures. It is best to avoid using oil before bedtime due to the stimulating effect on the nervous system.

Tea Tree - camphorlike
Lessens pain, vapors help breathing, healing to the skin

Ylang Ylang - heavy, sweet floral
Calming, relaxing, reduces stress, promotes a restful sleep, mood uplifting, euphoric. Brings out feelings, enhances communication. Loosens tight muscles, lessens pain
